BirdDog's P-Series and A-Series cameras support NDI HX2 and HX3, which is a feature that is introduced in firmware 5.5.114. To use this feature, you'll need to update your camera to version 5.5.114 or higher.*
Once you have confirmed that your camera is fully up to date, please refer to the following instructions to output NDI HX:
- Open the camera WebUI and navigate to the A/V tab.
- In the Advanced tab under "Protocol," select NDI HX.
- Please note: The NDI HX selection refers specifically to HX2. HX1 is not supported on BirdDog cameras. For HX3 configuration, please review the following article: Configuring HX3
- Navigate back to the Dashboard page and click Reboot to save this configuration.
- Open Studio Monitor. Find the camera, select it, and confirm that the following two options are available:
- [stream name]
- [stream name]_ HX
- You can also confirm the NDI output type in the WebUI in the AV tab > Advanced > Protocol – confirm that NDI HX has been retained after selection.
The camera is now outputting NDI HX.
